The next EcoLiving Winterization Workshop is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, November 10, 2012
Our first EcoLiving Winterization Workshop in November of 2011 was a success. It would be nice to see more people in attendance but for the first event it was a hit. Participants were taught how to detect leaks, fill gaps, add weather stripping to doors and plastic film to windows. They were shown many products to reduce utility costs and wasted resources. A safety component was also provided to introduce products such as CO detectors.
Feedback from the surveys indicated that everyone in attendance was happy with the information they received and the hands-on component to this workshop. They appreciated the products in the starter kit and said they were going home to winterize their homes.
